Jim's Adventures with Babysitting Daddy babysat for me today while Mommy went grocery shopping. We had a lot of fun! Daddy put cheese puffs in his mouth and made them disappear. He'd hold one between his lips, suck it into his mouth, swallow, and then give me a big smile. The cheese puff was gone! Wow! That made me smile, too. We must've done that a hundred times, until Daddy said he was getting sick of cheese puffs.
After he gave me a bottle and changed my diaper, Daddy put me in the stroller and took me on a tour of the house. We marched from the kitchen to the living room to the bedroom and back again to the sound of my favorite tune, "Colonel Hathi's March" from "The Jungle Book." Hup, two, three, four...Keep it up, two, three, four... I like the way Daddy marches me with the stroller -- he makes me smile.
After we wore a path in the carpet, Daddy laid down to recharge his batteries. I let the ceiling fan entertain me while he rested. I don't know why he always gets so tired when he plays with me.
Finally Mommy came home. I realized I missed her so I started crying. Just like I knew she would, she picked me up and held me. Ahhhh... Love, Tia Updated Friday, September 04, 2009. | |
