Our 2000 Christmas Picture from Pearlridge Shopping Center
Monday...I met Santa Claus today! Mommy and Daddy and I went to Pearlridge Shopping Center in Aiea as soon as Daddy got home from work today. Auntie Skyla and Auntie Rebecca took a picture of us with Santa Claus. They tried really hard to get me to smile, but Santa just made me too uncomfortable. I waited until I got away from him before I smiled. Mommy and Daddy took me all over the shopping center to see all of the pretty Christmas decorations. I got to ride on a monorail, too! We used it to get from one side of the mall to the other and back.
After we left Pearlridge we went to City Mill in Pearl City. The fresh-cut Christmas trees they had outside made the whole store smell nice and Christmassy. I played with Auntie Susie, the cashier, while Mommy and Daddy bought some Christmas lights -- Mommy says we're going to decorate the lanai with them. I can hardly wait!
It was late, and I was sleepy when we got back home. Mommy gave me a bottle and changed my diaper and then put me to bed. I think I'm going to have nice Christmas dreams tonight. Goodnight, everybody...Love, Tia
