Golden Gate Bridge & the Drive-thru Tree
Sunday...We drove to the south side of the Golden Gate Bridge today and took pictures and then drove across to the north side and took more pictures. We kept driving north until we reached Leggett, where we visited the Chandelier Tree – a redwood tree so big you can drive through it. I slept the whole way there. After I woke up, we did drive through it. Mommy and Daddy and I explored the grounds – we visited some ducks and geese in a pond and sat in the hollow of a giant fallen redwood. Then we started driving home. We stopped for dinner at Taco Bell in Wallitts – Daddy went next door to McDonalds to get me some French fries.
After dinner, while I took another nap, we drove back home. While Mommy packed for tomorrow’s trip to Yosemite, Daddy and I walked down to Pier 39 and visited the big Christmas tree. Then we walked over to Subway and picked Mommy up a crab and seafood sandwich. When we got back home, I played with the telephone until bedtime. Goodnight, everybody … Love, Tia
