Exploring Yosimite
Tuesday...Mommy and Daddy and I drove to Yosemite and met Auntie Linda and Uncle Ian at the Upper Pines campground, lot #216. Daddy drove us all to Yosemite Lodge, where we got tickets for the Yosemite Valley afternoon bus tour. Then we took a hike down the path to Yosemite Falls. Along the way, I saw a gray squirrel climb a tree – I was fascinated! After we hiked to the Falls and back, we drove back to the campground and ate lunch with Auntie Linda and Uncle Ian in their camper. Then we drove back to the lodge again and boarded the bus for our tour of Yosemite Valley. I got out a couple of times with Mommy and Daddy and Auntie Linda and Uncle Ian to take pictures.
After the tour, we visited the Yosemite Store, where Auntie Linda and Uncle Ian bought me a cute little squirrel doll. It’s really nice – Mommy named him “Taramchui” (“Squirrel” in Korean) for me. Then we visited the Ansel Adams Art Gallery. While everybody else browsed through the art work, Daddy and I played with a tiny puppy that a lady had brought inside.
When we were finished shopping, we took Auntie Linda and Uncle Ian back to their camper and drove to Mariposa to fill the car up with gasoline. While we were there, Daddy got dinner for us at Burger King. We ate in the car on the way back to the motel. Once we got there, I played for a little while and then fell asleep.
