The Dentist's OfficeSaturday...Daddy took me for a walk in the morning – around the Rec Center and Building-3. I saw a great big talpengi (snail) behind Building-3 and a white butterfly and two bright red cardinals in the park. I met Jason and his Daddy and a cute little doggie named Lily and her owner in front of our building. Later, I drove downtown with Mommy and Daddy to Dr Lee’s office. I got bumped in the head by Auntie Jamie, the receptionist, when she opened the door to the examination rooms while I was playing on the other side of the door with Daddy’s keys and the bathroom keys. I cried a lot, but I was more startled than hurt. I slept through our trips to the Airport Post Office and the Pearl Harbor Exchange. I woke up in the Exchange parking lot just in time to see a bunch of birdies eating a roll under the pick-up truck next to ours. When we got home, Daddy took me for a walk again. We stopped to play at the pool, where Joshua (#106) was celebrating his second birthday. I had fun laying down at the edge of the pool and splashing my hand in the water. I also enjoyed watching Race (~9) and his sister (~11) jump in and out of the pool. After we came back home, I spent the rest of the evening playing with Mommy and Daddy and my toys. Daddy went to bed early. Now Mommy’s giving me hugs and kisses and putting me to bed. Goodnight, everybody… Updated Friday, September 04, 2009. | |
