Celebrating Buddha's Birthday at Mu Ryang Sa Temple in Palolo Valley Sunday...Today’s Buddha’s Birthday! Mommy and Daddy and I drove to Mu Ryang Sa Temple in Palolo Valley for the celebration this morning. While Mommy attended the service in the Main Temple, Daddy and I played outside and in the Chapel. We met Jae-Yuen (~6) and his little brother (~5) upstairs in Chapel. They watched a video while Daddy and I played with puzzles. Downstairs in the Chapel, we met Alten (~4). He and I chased each other around the room in circles and then went outside and caught some fishies in the Turtle Pond. Then Daddy and I caught some little froggies outside the Bell Tower. When the service was over, Mommy and Daddy and I ate lunch with everybody down in the garage. Then we dropped off Uncle Brian’s mother-in-law in Mililani. I fell asleep on the way home, and was still asleep when we drove into our parking space, so Daddy stayed in the car with me until I woke up. After we went inside, I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening playing with Mommy and Daddy and my toys. I especially enjoyed playing with my alphabet puzzle and playing in bathroom sink with Mommy and dancing to the Star Trek: Next Generation theme with Daddy. I also had fun playing with my toys in guest bedroom while Daddy was studying. Now Mommy and Daddy are giving me goodnight hugs and kisses, and Daddy’s putting me in my crib. I’m saying “Ni-Night, Omma,” and for the first time, “Ni-Night, Daaa.” Mommy and Daddy are all excited and proud of me! I’m all excited and proud of myself, too! Goodnight, everybody…Love, Tia Updated Friday, September 04, 2009. | |
