Ala Moana Shopping Center, Mu Ryang Sa Temple, & Pearl Harbor Toyland Friday...Mommy and I drove to Kama’aina Kids Preschool this morning for my first field trip, but my teachers and the four of my “Ginger” classmates who were also going on the field trip had already left. Mommy and I drove on and met them at Ala Moana Shopping Center. We visited Jungle Fun, the Disney Store, and Walden Books. Miss Kisha read us a story at Walden Books, but I wasn't interested – I just roamed around the store, looking at books. When storytime was finished, I showed everybody a toy kokiri – Mommy explained to them that kokiri means “elephant” in Korean. Our last stop was the big fish pond. After we watched the big fishies for awhile, my teachers and classmates went back to school, and Mommy and I drove to Mu Ryang Sa Temple in Palolo Valley. Mommy and I prayed in the temple and visited with the other Aunties. Mommy and I drove back toward home. I fell asleep in my car seat, so I slept right through our stop at the Airport Industrial Park to meet Daddy as he got off work. I woke up in the Pearl Harbor Commissary parking lot with Daddy, instead of Mommy, in the car. After Mommy returned to car with groceries from the Commissary, we all walked over to Toyland. I had fun playing with Michael (6) and his sister Brenna (4) and some other kids. I had fun exploring the toy houses. I had the most fun sliding down a slide front-ways all by myself for the first time ever. After we arrived back home, I spent the rest of the evening playing with Mommy and Daddy and my books and my toys. I especially enjoyed washing my hands in the bathroom sink and marching to Star Trek: Next Generation theme. Now it’s time to go to bed. Goodnight, everybody…
