Tia Tabisola, Tia Hancy, & Chardenae Gonzales Taking a Break during the Christmas Pageant Friday...I had fun at school this morning. It wasn’t long, though, before we all got into the school bus and rode over to the Salt Lake Community Center to participate in our Christmas Program. My teachers, Ms Mary Ann, Ms Sharlene, Ms Maria, and Ms Leoni herded all of us Ginger Class students, Ethen Bautista, Marissa Davis, Hansen Fines, William Ostrowski, Ryan Richardson, Justin Erolin, Chardenae and Darian Gonzales, Joshua Kepler, Raven Rafael, D. J. Hamada, Cinserra Lutu, Aaron Whelan, and me to our spot on the stage. I saw Mommy and Daddy out in the audience! Throughout the whole program, I kept pointing them out to Chardenae and Joshua. Our class opened the program by singing and dancing to “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and “Jingle Bells.” Then the Lokelani Class performed “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “Ring the Bells,” the Pikake Class performed “Wrapping Christmas Presents” and “Feliz Navidad,” and the Ilima Class performed “Boogie Man” and “Toys on the Christmas Tree.” Then all of us joined in again for a final chorus of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” Mommy and Daddy were so proud of me! After the show, Santa Claus arrived and started giving out presents to everybody. I was too afraid to approach him myself, so Daddy came with me. He gave me a nice present and I thanked him. Mommy and Daddy and I then ate lunch with everybody. Mommy and Daddy complemented my teachers for putting on such a wonderful Christmas program and also for the great job they’re doing with me at school. Mommy and Daddy and I then went outside and played on the playground for a little while and then hopped in the car and came back home. After we took naps, Daddy took me over to the swimming pool. I had a great time swimming with Daddy and playing with Ryan (~3) and Ramil (~6), who were there with their Mommy. Ryan and I played on the steps with my bathtub toys. Ramil threw them back to us when they floated away. Soon after Ryan and Ramil and their Mommy went home, I got cold, so Daddy wrapped me up and took me home, too. Mommy gave me a nice warm bath, and I was as good as new. I spent the rest of the evening playing with Mommy and Daddy and my books and my toys. I enjoyed playing in the bathroom, where I washed my hands, brushed my teeth, and combed Daddy’s hair. I also enjoyed playing with the Christmas present Santa gave me after Mommy unwrapped it for me. It was a Dora-the-Explorer Christmas Tree ornament. Now it’s time to go to bed. Goodnight, everybody…Love, Tia Updated Friday, September 04, 2009. | |
