Maia’s House, Pearl Harbor Exchange, & Kentucky Fried Chicken I’m three years old today! We’ve got a lot of work to do to prepare for our move, so we’re not going to celebrate my birthday until we get to Hangook (Korea). I pronounce it “Handook.” I helped Mommy clean and pack all morning. In the afternoon, we went and visited Auntie Keiko and Maia Matsuda in apartment #211 while some potential buyers looked at our apartment. Maia and I had fun playing together. Later in the afternoon, Daddy came home from his last day of work at DigitalNet. He took me to the Pearl Harbor Exchange with him. We rented “The AristoCats” movie from the Video Shop and then played in the “Baby” section of the Exchange. I call it the “Moon and Stars” – because of the big moon and star ornaments that hang from the ceiling there. I had fun playing with a pink stuffed bear. I pushed her around in a stroller, put her in a crib, put her in a bassinette, and put her in a little bouncer. Then Daddy and I walked over to the Commissary and got some cartons of juice for me. We drove over to Kentucky Fried Chicken and bought dinner and returned home. Mommy and Daddy and I had a nice picnic in the living room while we watched “The AristoCats." I spent the rest of the evening playing with Mommy and Daddy and my toys ... Love, Tia Updated Friday, September 04, 2009. | |
