Tia's checking out the snow -- one of the rare times it's stuck to the ground this winter. I got up early this morning and found Daddy working in the computer room. I joined him at the computer desk. He printed out little Disney pictures for me and I cut them out with my scissors. When he took a shower to get ready for work, I went back to sleep with Mommy. I heard Daddy leave for work, but by the time I made it out of bed and to the door to give him a hug and a kiss, he'd already left. I was sad. Mommy woke up and comforted me, and when Daddy came home from work, I told him what happened. He felt bad -- he said he looked in on Mommy and me right before he left and we were both asleep. He asked me to forgive him and gave me a big hug and a big kiss. I brought Daddy to the window and showed him all the snow outside. He said, "Wow! Let's play in it!" Mommy got me dressed, and then Daddy and I went outside. It was almost all melted, but we managed to hit each other with a few snowballs. Then Daddy and I went to the Han River Park and let Mommy study for her Trigonometry class. Daddy got me some pink Panda drink and some chocolate chip cookies at the souvenir stand. I fed almost all of my cookies to the birdies. I blew some bubbles with my Little Mermaid automatic bubble blower, but the birdies weren't impressed. I wanted to play with the puppy, but the man in the souvenir stand said the puppy was sleeping inside with him because he'd had a shot earlier in the day and was very tired. Daddy and I took a tour of the Turtle Ship. I played with the light displays on the interactive map of Korea and watched the movie about Admiral Yi with Daddy. We walked back to the souvenir stand to see if the puppy was awake yet, but he was still sleeping. I fed the birdies some more cookies, and then Daddy and I walked back home. Daddy touched Mommy's cheek with his cold hand and made her jump -- that was funny. I spent the rest of the day watching my new Kipper video (from the library), singing karaoke songs with Daddy ("Mannam," "Gaeddong Beolle," "Neili Chachaomyeon," "Tur," and "You Are My Sunshine"), and playing with Mommy and Daddy and my toys. Now it's time for bed. Sweet dreams, everybody ... Love, Tia Updated Thursday, August 31, 2006. |
