A Trip to Yongsan Electronics MarketMommy spent most of the day studying her Trigonometry. As soon as I got Daddy going this morning, I played hide and seek with him. Then we went on an adventure -- we took the subway to Yongsan Electric Market. After we got off the train at Yongsan Station, we walked through two long tunnels to get to the shopping area. I had a sausage on a stick and Daddy ate chicken on a stick while we were shopping. We were hoping to find a "Pooh's Heffalump Movie" DVD, but we were unsuccessful. We bought a DVD of "The AristoCats," instead. I'm not complaining. We walked back through the long tunnels to the train station and visited the Dalgi (Korean for "strawberry") Store for Kids, where we did some window-shopping. Then we walked down to the train area and bought some donuts and a can of orange juice from a stand on the platform. We rode the subway back to Ichon and walked home. Before we went inside, though, Daddy let me play on the playground for a little while.Mommy and Daddy and I were happy to see each other again. I ate my donut and drank my orange juice while I watched "The AristoCats" with Daddy. Later, Daddy read "Curious George Goes Camping" to me. Then we watched "The AristoCats" over and over again all evening -- especially my two favorite parts -- when the Mexican cat calls Roquefort the Mouse "Squeaky" and when Roquefort says, "Did somebody say cheese?" Now it's time for bed. Sweet dreams, everybody ... Love, Tia Updated Thursday, August 31, 2006. | |
