Mommy and Daddy and I rode a bus on a USO tour to Everland Amusement Park today.  We were pleasantly surprised to see the Salinas family on the bus, too.  Brucie is in my preschool class.  Mr. Joseph was our tour guide, and Mr. Kim was our bus driver.  Mr. Kim remembered us from our trip to Mt. Sorak in 2003.  He says I'm prettier than ever.

Mommy and Daddy and I had lots of fun at Everland.  We entered through the Global Fairgrounds and took the Human Sky ski lift down to Equatorial Adventure Park.  We saw a giant polar bear, some tigers, and some penguins.  At Safari World, we took a bus ride through a park filled with lions, tigers, bears, and an elephant.  We were very close to them -- they were right outside the windows of the bus!  At Animal Wonderland we visited the petting zoo.  I petted some lambs and goats and saw a lot of little animals up close -- meerkats, coatis, gray kangaroos, llamas, donkeys, etc.  We saw some other animal exhibits, too -- of bats, flying squirrels, skunks, porcupines, foxes, monkeys, doggies, etc.

Next we visited European Adventure Park.  We ate lunch at the Alpine Food Fair, and then Mommy and I rode a camel!  That was fun.

Our next stop was Magic Land.  While we were waiting in line for the Royal Jubilee Carousel (merry-go-round), we watched the Everland Parade march by -- there were lots of nice floats with princesses on them.  When it was our turn to ride the merry-go-round, we each rode our own horsies.  This was the first time I rode on a merry-go-round all by myself without Mommy or Daddy standing next to me, holding me.  Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me.

Next, we went on the Sky Dancing ride -- a round train with a revolving floor that rises up into the air.  We saw Brucie and his family in the line behind us.  I kept saying "Hi" to him whenever we came around to his spot in the line.  The next ride we went on was the Global Village -- a ride very similar to It's a Small World at Disneyland.  We took a little boat trip around the whole world and saw lots of dollies from lots of different countries.

We took a break for some shave ice (for me) and ice cream (for Mommy and Daddy) and then walked back to Equatorial Adventure Park.  We watched the doggies play in their show pen for a little while and then took the Human Sky ski lift back up the Global Fairgrounds.  Mommy and Daddy bought me a "Sheepo" balloon that floats in the air and a cute toy doggie that walks and barks.  Mommy bought some water and cookies and then we got back on the bus.  Mr. Joseph gave me a beautiful DMZ coin (a souvenir from a tour to the Korean Demilitarized Zone), and Mr. Kim gave me three little golden piggies and some pretty ear cleaner sticks.  Thank you so much, Mr. Joseph and Mr. Kim.

On the bus ride home, we all sang "Happy Birthday" to Nina Salinas, Brucie's ten-year-old sister.  After we got home and ate dinner, I spent the rest of the evening playing with Mommy and Daddy and my new doggie and balloon.  Now it's time for bed.  Sweet dreams, everybody ... Love, Tia
