RCIO Memorial Day Cookout RCIO Memorial Day Cookout
RCIO Memorial Day Cookout Tia's looking to see what kind of popsicles they have at 7-11. (She didn't find any she liked.) Tia's playing in the LG Park. She's showing Jim how fast she can run. Wow, that's fast! Tia's playing at the LG playground next to Building 108. Seou and Seo-Young and Tia pose in front of Rabbit Rock in the LG Park.
Tia's looking to see what kind of popsicles they have at 7-11. (She didn't find any she liked.) My New Friend, Seo-YoungToday was a training holiday for the soldiers on Yongsan. Since a lot of my friends weren't going to be in school, Mommy let me stay home with her today. Daddy still had to work, though, because he's not a soldier. He did have a cookout with his friends at lunchtime, though. I had fun playing with Mommy and my toys all day. When Daddy came home, he took me outside for a walk. We walked down the big street all the way to Mink Toy Store and then turned around and walked the other way. Daddy and I bought a heoddok from the street vendors and some popsicles from Seoul Market and then sat down on the steps next to the Flower Shop and had a picnic. We played "I Spy" together and watched Auntie and Uncle water down the sidewalk in front of their shop. While Daddy and I were playing on the steps, I fell down and scraped my leg. Auntie helped Daddy comfort me, and I soon stopped crying. Daddy and I walked back to our LG apartment complex and played in the park. I met a new friend named Seo-Young, who was playing in the park with her Mommy and her little brother, Seou. We had lots of fun playing "catch me," hide-and-seek, and badminton (with a package of tissues). We played on the playground equipment and Bunny Rock, too. Daddy and I came back inside after a while and ate dinner with Mommy. Daddy soon fell asleep. I spent the rest of the evening playing with Mommy and my toys. Now it's time for bed. Sweet dreams, everybody ... Love, Tia Updated Thursday, August 31, 2006. | |
