Kay and Tia are at the Yongsan Commissary looking for a nice Disney Princess birthday cake to order for Tia's birthday party tomorrow.

Picking Out My Birthday Cake

Mommy and I took Daddy to work this morning, and then Mommy dropped me off at school.  I had a great day today.  We studied the letter "M" some more.  Mommy picked me up in the afternoon, and then we picked Daddy up from work.  We picked up Uncle Bryan Teague along with Daddy, too.  Uncle Bryan is Daddy's new friend at work -- he's nice.

After we dropped Uncle Bryan off at the Dragon Hill Lodge, Mommy and Daddy and I continued on to the commissary.  We saw my preschool classmate Jaeda Hart and her family while we were grocery shopping.  We also saw a lot of Daddy's friends from work -- Uncle Bob Bradshaw; Uncle P.J. Riopel; Uncle David Kim; Uncle Jim Elo; Auntie Vickie Tate; and Uncle Ali, Auntie Waka, and Alexander Fotouhi.  Mommy and I tried to find a nice birthday cake to order for my party at school tomorrow, but they didn't have one I really liked.

After we finished shopping, Mommy and Daddy and I drove back over to the Dragon Hill Lodge.  We met our friends from the Jejudo trip, Uncle Rex, Auntie Emily, and Ana Hall there.  They were eating pizza in the food court.  It was great to see them again -- they wished me a Happy Birthday tomorrow.  Mommy and I picked out a really nice Disney Princess birthday cake at the deli.

We finally drove home.  I had some nice surprises waiting for me.  The first thing I saw was the entryway to my bedroom -- Mommy decorated it with streamers today.  Then she showed me a new book, Fiona Watt's "Mermaids."  And finally, she showed me a new toy she bought for me -- a whirligig toy that plays a song and shines bright lights.  Thank you so much, Mommy!

After we put all the groceries away and ate dinner, I played with my whirligig toy.  Then Daddy and I read "Mermaids" together twice.  Daddy got sleepy, so he crawled up into my top bunk.  I crawled into my bottom bunk, and we played dodgeball together -- with Snuggly, one of my Teddy bear slippers, and Laurna, my pink poodle pencil case.  I hit Daddy lots of times, but he hardly ever hit me.

Now Mommy's getting me ready for bed.  Sweet dreams, everybody ... Love, Tia
